The Bismarck refuelling the cruiser Prinz Eugen during a training exercise in the Baltic Sea. Unlike other navies that executed this manoeuvre side by side, the Kriegsmarine did so placing both ships in line. This photo was taken in the afternoon of 13 May 1941 north of Hela.
