Radiogram sent by the Chief of Fleet, Admiral Lütjens, to Group North at 1040 hours on 15 May 1941, it reads:

"As far as can be presently assessed, because of compromised combat readiness of "Bismarck", postponement of “Marburg” by at least 3 days required."
